Viva Italia

In just one week, Lulu and I will be getting on a plane to visit Auntie Em and Uncle Niko.  This was Lulu's reaction when I showed her the plane tickets.

And you should have seen her face when I told her we would be meeting this little fella, Guelfo.  For those of you who haven't heard yet, Lulu uttered her first word last weekend "cat."  How appropriate!

Can't wait to see you Em and Niko!

BEA

Bea just crossed the pond to pay us a visit and we had the best time with her, although it was way too short!  It was very hard to say goodbye, but hopefully we will be able to see her again soon. 

Lulu loved watching Aunt Bea put her make up on -- just wait until Lulu is a bit older so they can play dress up together!

We went out for lunches ...

... went to the playground to show Aunt Bea how high Lulu can go on the swings (Lulu loves the swings almost as much as she loves her Aunt Bea!).

 

Lulu and Papa even got to relax on a big saucer swing.

 

Now it's quiet and lonely on Munster Rd.  We miss you Bea -- but now Jay and Chester are happy to have you back home!  Hope to see you in OH around turkey day!!  xoxo

City of lights

We have been extremely busy and having so much fun lately that we almost forgot about blogging!  Shortly after Lulu's birthday we took a weekend trip to Paris to visit Papinou, Mamine, Mamie Alix, and great Aunt Monique. 

We took several walks through the jardin du luxembourg ...

... walked through the Marais, had lunch, visited Merci ...

... and went to visit Mamie Alix. 

Hopefully we'll be able to go back for another visit soon so Lulu can visit some typical Parisian landmarks.
