Happy halloween

We didn't find time this year to dream up a Halloween costume, so Lulu is sporting the same bat scarf as last year.  Taking a photo of her in it was nearly impossible, however she seems a lot more excited about wearing it this time! 

Hope you all have the pleasure of eating lots of candy ... we need to go to the store to get our fix!

Quando, quando, quando ?

Lulu already wants to know when we can go back to visit Em and Niko!

Finalmente ... Italia

Lulu and I are happy to report that we made it to Florence to visit Em, Niko, and Guelfo!  We arrived Thursday afternoon and have been having a wonderful time since the moment we stepped off the plane.  Lulu loves Auntie Em and Uncle Niko and is having a grand old time playing with Guelfo.  She hasn't managed to say cat again, so maybe her next word will be Guelfo.   A dopo!

Bittersweet

Lulu and I wish we could say we were blogging from Florence while visiting Em and Niko, however we had to postpone our trip.  Fear not, we are visiting them mid October when there will be a refreshing, crisp feeling of Fall in the air - and hopefully fewer tourists! 

The good news, however, is that we picked up the keys to our new home on Friday and we are smitten!  The feeling of a real house is very different than apartment living ... and we're quickly seeing that it comes with a lot more responsibility (we haven't even moved in yet!).
